Intel Inside in Samsung’s new 10 inch Tab

Samsung has now considered Intel’s Atom processor for its upcoming 25.7-cm (10.1-inch) tablet PC. And if that is true, Intel has finally been able to get hold of a bigger fish than it as having so far in its net. As per the latest benchmark results that have been revealed courtesy GFXbench database, Samsung has resorted to Intel Atom Z2560 Clover Trail dual core processor in its upcoming tablet PC ..

The tablet PC is modelled as GT-P5200 and has been codenamed as Santos. This is not the first time that this codename has cropped up for Samsung’s tablet in discussion. We have been hearing it for long. The benchmark listing shows that the processor will be clocked at 1.6GHz and will be packed with PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 GPU ..

Some other features of the device have also been revealed including rge 25.7-cm (10.1-inch) WXGA (1280×800) display and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The tablet is going to be a Wi-Fi only version as spotted in the listing. Some of the previous reports suggest that it will feature a 5MP rear camera and 16/ 32GB of internal storage ..

What is really a news is Intel’s processor in the tablet as Intel has really been having tough time with Android OEMs for its processors. Asus is another OEM that has supported Intel’s Atom processor in Fonepad and now with Samsung, it seems Intel has been able to achieve success in tablet PC segment ..
